breaking the brain freeze

Finally!

My brain is not frozen. I made some super groovy anklets last night and will post a new one every day. I am also re-doing some anklets that I think are really not "groovy". I am so psyched!

Unfortunately there is a delay in the anklet sales in Florida. The sweet owner's mother died the day the anklets arrived, so I will wait until she is ready to put them out. Poor woman. I pray her for and her loss. I lost my father 3 years ago and it was so devastating.

So tonight I think I will make an anklet in honor of her mom.

About Groovy Anklets

Hello! My name is Christine Krebs, from the Baltimore / DC area. My hobby is making anklets (especially during the winter months) and selling them to help animals. I have a degree in art from FSU (many years ago) and have carried my creativity into many areas of my life. I was inspired to start selling anklets when I couldn't keep up with the demands of making them for free. Because I am very compassionate about animals, I thought it would be a great idea to donate proceeds to the local area animal shelters. I decided to name my shop "Groovy Anklets" because each piece is unique and a little more original than what you might find at an average store. I am inspired by gems, spirituality and beauty. I use all sorts of beads and charms. I love using crystal beads, charms that carry meanings, and stone beads. I hope you enjoy your little visit to my blog. Stop by my Etsy store if you are interested in my creations. Thank you!
